Hi Inventor,
What are you working on right now?
Maybe you have a new idea that is still in your head.
Maybe you are researching the market, building a prototype, looking into patents, or preparing to pitch your invention.
Maybe you are simply trying to figure out what your next step should be.
Wherever you are in the inventor journey, you do not have to figure everything out alone.
Tonight at 7 PM ET, you are invited to join the Inventor Community Meet & Greet, live on Google Meet.
This is a free, relaxed online meetup where inventors and creative people can introduce themselves, exchange ideas, ask questions, and connect with others who understand what it is like to bring an idea to life.

Samantha St. Raymond

Inventor and Co-Creator of Yellow Dog Table
Samantha began her inventor journey in 2016 when she and her father created the Yellow Dog Table, a portable beach table designed to keep food, drinks, phones, and speakers safely above the sand. Through her own hands-on experience developing products, identifying market gaps, and navigating the inventor process, Samantha brings a practical and encouraging perspective to the community. She is passionate about sustainable innovation, creative problem-solving, and helping other inventors grow with the right support around them.

Shawn is the inventor behind SureCover, a line of products designed to help protect food and serving utensils from direct contact with contaminants while making it easy to recover them when needed. As the founder of The Open Door Kitchen and its So Flyway brand, Shawn brings real-world experience in product development, problem-solving, and turning everyday challenges into practical solutions.

Together, Sam, Shawn, and Brian bring firsthand inventor experience, community leadership, and practical insight to tonight’s conversation.
What to Expect
This is not a webinar.
It is not a formal class.
You do not need to prepare a presentation or pitch.
It is a casual, welcoming online meetup where you can:
Introduce yourself
Meet other inventors
Share what you are working on
Ask a question
Hear what other people are creating
Learn about helpful resources
Make new connections
Get to know the Inventor Smart community
You can participate as much or as little as you would like.
Camera on or off.
Idea ready or still developing.
First-time attendee or longtime member.
You are welcome.
Why Join?
Having an idea is exciting, but the invention process can also feel confusing.
You may be asking yourself:
Does something like my invention already exist?
Should I build a prototype?
Do I need a patent?
Should I license my invention or manufacture it myself?
How do I know what to do next?
Sometimes one conversation can help you see your idea differently.
You might hear a question you had not considered.
You might meet someone working through the same challenge.
You might learn about a resource, process, or next step that helps you move forward.
You might simply feel encouraged by being around other people who understand the inventor mindset.
Brian often reminds inventors that having a good idea is important, but having the right people around you matters too.
Tonight is an opportunity to start building that network.
You Do Not Have to Reveal Your Invention
You should never feel pressured to share confidential information about your idea.
You can introduce yourself and describe the general category, industry, problem, or stage you are working through without revealing the details that make your invention unique.
You can also join simply to listen, learn, and meet the community.
There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable sharing.
Not in the Inventor Smart App Yet?
You do not need to be a member of the Inventor Smart App to attend tonight’s meetup.
The event is open to everyone.
After the meetup, the Inventor Smart App is where you can continue connecting with inventors, participating in conversations, learning about upcoming events, and finding helpful resources.
It is free to join.

Shoptin replaces Shopify's default email and sms marketing consent collection with compliant, region-optimized consent UX. Each shopper sees consent language tuned to them and their location. Connects directly to Klaviyo, Postscript, and Attentive. Most brands are up in running in <15 minutes.
