We will learn about the Copyright Office, the basics of what a copyright can protect for your invention, including your patent design, website, instructions, packaging and other intellectual property you can protect.

What’s the differences between a patent, trademark and the advantages of obtaining a copyright? The team from the Copyright Office will share tips, advice and how to file including:

· Copyright Basics, and the difference/relationship of copyright from Patents and Trademarks.· Registration and Benefits of Copyright Registration· Overview/Role of Copyright Office and Strategic Plan· Recent Developments in copyright, including current reports, studies and the new Copyright Claims Board· Overview of Website and how to navigate the website to find information· Overview of online Registration System· How to communicate with the USCO
