From Italy to a Nasdaq Reservation
How do you follow record-setting success? Get stronger. Take Pacaso. Their real estate co-ownership tech set records in Paris and London in 2024. No surprise. Coldwell Banker says 40% of wealthy Americans plan to buy abroad within a year. So adding 10+ new international destinations, including three in Italy, is big. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.

Community Spotlight: Tanner N.
This week, we’re excited to welcome Tanner N., a commercial real estate agent by day and tinkerer by night, who is diving into his invention journey from St. Cloud, MN.
Tanner joined the Inventor Smart Community to learn, connect, and gather resources to bring his ideas to life. Already, he’s been active in the forum — asking great questions like how inventors can connect with prototype specialists. That curiosity and drive to learn is exactly what makes our community so valuable.
While his invention is still in progress, Tanner represents the spirit of innovation we celebrate here: taking that first step, asking the right questions, and leaning on community support to keep moving forward.
Tanner, we’re excited to have you on this journey and can’t wait to see how your ideas take shape!

Inventor Spotlight Ep. 17 – Dr. Turner Osler
The latest episode of Inventor Spotlight is live — and you won’t want to miss this one. Host Samantha St. Raymond chats with Dr. Turner Osler, a former trauma surgeon and research epidemiologist who traded the OR for the workshop to reinvent the way we sit.
From the Button Chair (a free DIY “tippy” chair helping students stay focused) to the Foot Wave (an under-desk tool keeping adults active while seated), this episode is packed with insights on innovation, health, and accessible design.
📺 Watch Ep. 17 on YouTube — and don’t forget to like, comment, and share your thoughts!

Inventor Tip of the Week — Keep an Invention Journal
One of the smartest habits you can build as an inventor is keeping a detailed invention journal. Brian Fried emphasizes this practice in his books because it not only helps you stay organized but also protects your ideas legally.
Every time inspiration strikes, write it down immediately — whether it’s a quick sketch, a product tweak, or a new pitch angle. Document dates, notes, and progress milestones. This creates a paper trail of your creative process, which can serve as evidence if there’s ever a question about who thought of it first.
Why it matters: Many inventors lose valuable time (and sometimes rights) because they rely on memory instead of proof. A well-kept journal shows you’re serious and disciplined — two qualities that stand out to potential partners, investors, and patent examiners.
📌 Pro Tip: Use a bound notebook (not loose pages) or a digital tool that time-stamps entries. Sign and date every page, and if possible, have a trusted witness sign too.
🎯 Action Step: Start your invention journal this week. Make it a daily habit to jot down new ideas, sketches, or research findings. Over time, you’ll not only have stronger protection but also a roadmap of your own growth as an inventor.
