Today, we celebrate a father of modern music—and a nod to all inventors who pass their legacy on to the next generation.
🎸 June 9, 1915 – Les Paul was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Known as the “Wizard of Waukesha,” Les Paul revolutionized music with his invention of the solid-body electric guitar, transforming how music is made, shared, and experienced.
Like creative dads who inspire their children, Les introduced tools that gave rise to countless rock ‘n’ roll legends. His design laid the foundation for iconic instruments used by artists for generations—something that echoes with family tradition, mentorship, and legacy.
As Father’s Day approaches, let Les Paul’s story remind us:
